Dr. Jim Johnson Award of Distinction

The Dr. Jim Johnson Award of Distinction is presented annually to a faculty or staff member from Doane University. The Doane Student-Athlete Leadership Team (SALT) takes nominations from their fellow student-athletes and selects a winner. Nominees are those, as seen by the student-athletes, as making a valuable contribution to their experience at Doane.

The award, originally the SALT Award of Distinction, was renamed after it's first recipient, Dr. Jim Johnson.
