Facilities
Doane is continually reinvesting in its campus and college athletics. Recognized as one of the most beautiful in the region, the campus in Crete is the ideal mix of historic and modern facilities.
Doane University has two athletic training rooms on campus to serve the student-athletes, the largest one located inside Fuhrer Field House where the majority of evaluations and treatments take place, and a smaller room located inside the George and Sally Haddix Recreation and Athletic Center.
George and Sally Haddix Recreation and Athletic Center

Home to basketball, volleyball, cheer, dance and tennis.

Wrestling hosts home duals inside the Haddix Center as well.

The center point between all athletic facilities, the Haddix Center also hosts the coaches' offices, weight room and fitness center. It's the building you envision when you think of athletics in college.

Tennis courts include lights for evening play and practices, and is available for recreational use by students and the community.

A scaled down version of our athletic training facility, used primarily for taping and other minor treatments that occur before practices or games.

Interactive computers in the front lobby introduce Doane Hall-of-Fame and Honor D recipients.

Fitness center memberships allow community members to utilize the weight room and workout areas.
Fuhrer Field House

Located on the northeast end of the Doane campus, Fuhrer Field House is home to indoor track & field.

Athletic training facilities large enough for several athletes to receive rehab treatments at the same time.

Used as practice space for baseball, softball, and tennis as well as other sports and student recreation when other facilities are not available.
Doane Ballfield Complex

Home to Tiger baseball and softball.

Located on the east end of campus.

The facility includes batting cages, a two-story press box and concession stand.
Al Papik Field and Lauritsen Outdoor Track

Al Papik Field is home to the football and soccer teams and was renamed from Simon Field on September 14, 2013.

Lauritsen Track surrounds the field and is home to the outdoor track & field team.

A new outdoor, polyurethane track was installed as part of a renovation in 2010. New turf was installed in 2011.

Located on the northwest end of the campus.

Both the track and turf field are used by the Crete community and Crete High School.
College Heights Country Club

A nine hole, par 36 course, located southwest of the Doane campus.

Home to men's and women's golf.
Cross Country Course

Home to the men's and women's cross country teams for Doane and Crete High School.

Host to the Dean White Invite, named after four-time All-American Dean White.
The Den

A practice facility for men's and women's soccer. Football will also use it for practice when soccer has home games.

The discus ring is located in the northwest corner of the facility for track and field meets.

Located on the east end of campus, The Den was the first home of Doane soccer.
