Bio
Nick Ginapp joined the Doane Baseball coaching staff in the summer of 2017. Prior to becoming a Tiger, he served as an assistant coach at Concordia University (Neb.). He works primarily with the team defense and assist in recruiting for the Tigers.
Ginapp played a key role in the resurgance of the Concordia baseball team over the last three seasons, capped with a bid to the 2017 NAIA National Opening Round Tournament.
Originally from Marshalltown, Iowa, Ginapp attended Buena Vista University where he graduated with a degree in exercise science and sports management.
Ginapp started in coaching at Western Illinois where he also earned a master's degree in sports management. He found his way to Washburn University in Kansas and served as an assistant from 2007-14. There he coached 37 players who would earn All-MIAA honors, including Brett Ash who signed with the Seattle Mariners out of college.
He and his wife, Cassie, have four children, Kenley, Peyton, Elise, and Laney. They reside in Crete.
