Dance Wins Home Invite

Competitive Dance won for the second time this season as they kept the title at home in hosting the Doane Invitational. The Tigers posted a team score of 82.37, just shy of their opening season performance of 83.65. Dordt (Iowa) placed second in the meet with Hope International (Calif.) taking third.

The team was strong in several categories, posting an 8.2 average (out of 10) in Jazz Technique, an 8.1 in Pom Technique, and 8.2 in Hip Hop Technique. Doane added an 8.8 in Choreography and an 8.8 in Performance Impression.

Doane will return to action on Friday, February 9, when they compete at the York Crown Classic in York.
