Dance Places Sixth at NAIA National Championships

Dance competed at the NAIA National Championships on Friday and Saturday in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The Tigers brought home a sixth place finish with a final score of 85.06.

In the preliminary round on Friday, the Tigers recorded a score of 82.53 and sat in seventh place. In the final round, which counted for 75-percent of the team score, Doane posted an 85.97.

Doane's overall total is their second-best score at the national championships, behind last year's 85.53. The Tigers have posted back-to-back Top 10 finishes nationally after two 11th Place finishes in the program's first two national appearances.
