No. 12 Concordia Pulls Away in Second Half from Men's Basketball

Men's Basketball traveled to Seward on Wednesday evening to take on No. 12 Concordia. The Tigers put up a strong effort in the first half but cooled off offensively in the second half as they fell to the Bulldogs, 89-59.

Doane shot 45-percent in the first half while the Bulldogs shot 52-percent as Concordia led 38-34 at the break. In the second half, Concordia shot 63-percent while holding Doane to 31-percent as they pulled away.

Jack Wilson led the Tigers with 13 points and eight rebounds. He also tied for team-high honors with three assists, matched by Brady Timm. Caleb Hrabik added 12 points and five rebounds.

Concordia was led by Tristan Smith with 19 points and nine rebounds. Elijah Gaeth added 13 points and six assists.

Doane will close out the season on Saturday, February 22, when they host Hastings. Senior Day recognition will take place immediately after the women's game which tips off at 2 PM.
