Men's Soccer started their season in Bellevue as they took on the NAIA 8th-ranked Bruins. Bellevue posted a 6-0 win in the match.
The Bruins posted the first goal of the game in the 4' by Matias Daniel-Doren. They picked up their second goal in the 17' as Ombeni Mubake scored. Daniel-Doren scored his second goal of the half in the 20' and Jeremiah Hteh scored in the 27' to give Bellevue a 4-0 lead at the break. An own goal put the Bruins up by five goals and Kevin Becerril scored the final goal in the 80'.
Doane was out-shot in the game, 20-5, with shots on-goal in Bellevue's favor, 13-2. Samuel Montanez finished with five saves in 68 minutes and Curtis Oberg finished with one save in 22 minutes.
