
Men's Tennis Clips Prairie Wolves
Men's Tennis traveled to Lincoln on Thursday to take on Nebraska Wesleyan in a non-conference matchup. The Tigers fell behind early but rallied by taking four singles matches to post a 4-3 victory over the Prairie Wolves.
Nebraska Wesleyan won the doubles point by taking two of the three matches. Doane's win came at No. 1 where Jose Purizaca and Diego Infante teamed up for a 6-1 win over Jacob Belfany and Sam Rademacher.
In singles action, Purizaca won at No. 1 in straight sets, 6-4, 6-1, over Belfany. Infante won his match at No. 2 over Gavin Nichols in a tie-break, 4-6, 6-1, 10-5. Andre Hartman defeated Rademacher, 6-3, 6-0, at No. 3 singles. Tanner Adams clinched the win at No. 5 with a 6-2, 6-4, win over Ian Armbrust.
