Turner Ties School Record in Hurdles

Men's Track and Field was represented by Zach Turner at the University of Nebraska Graduate Classic on Friday. He was the lone Tiger to compete in the meet.

Turner posted the fastest time in the preliminary round of the 60m hurdles. He ran a season-best time of 7.96 seconds, moving into the top spot in the NAIA. In the finals, Turner tied his school-record time, set last year at this meet, as he was clocked in 7.90 seconds and placed second. He improved his NAIA-leading time as well.

Doane's Scott Nisely Memorial Classic was canceled due to weather conditions on Saturday. Next up for the Tiger athletes will be the Polar Dog Invitational at Concordia and/or the Prairie Wolf Invitational at Nebraska (hosted by Nebraska Wesleyan).
