Softball dropped a 4-0 decision to Kansas Wesleyan on Friday afternoon in Branson, Missouri.
The Coyotes scored a run in the first inning and added three runs in the fifth inning for all the scoring in the game. Doane was limited to four hits in the game, all singles.
Grace Dowding went 2-for-2 for the Tigers while Anna Prauner and Faith McDonald had a hit apiece.
McDonald started for Doane in the circle, going 5.0 innings as she allowed four runs (three earned) on nine hits and a walk. Faith Molina threw the final 1.0 inning, allowing one hit and striking out one batter.
The Tigers return to action on Saturday morning when they take on Graceland at 9 AM.
