
Women's Basketball All-GPAC Honors Announced
The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) announced the 2025 women's basketball all-conference honors with four Doane players making the list.
Mak Hatcliff earned First Team honors for the fourth time in her career. She is the only player in program history to earn All-GPAC First Team honors four times. This season, she posted 19.2 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. Hatcliff finished her career with 2,455 points, second-most between men's and women's programs combined. She pulled in 797 rebounds, eighth-most in program history, dished out 228 assists, and picked up 307 steals, second-most in program history.
Macy Holtz received Second Team honors for the second time in her career. She averaged 15.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game this year. She finished her career with 1,106 career points, 29th on the Doane charts. She added 242 rebounds, 222 assists, and 146 steals in her career.
Maddie Portwine received honorable mention honors for the second time. She averaged 11.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. For her career, she posted 633 points, 254 rebounds, 129 assists, and 63 steals.
Megan Chambers received honorable mention for the second time as well. She posted 11.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game this year. Chambers will head into her senior year next season with 725 career points, 395 rebounds, 68 assists, and 80 blocked shots - tied for eighth most in program history.
