Women's Soccer took on Dordt in Sioux Center, Iowa, Saturday afternoon. The Defenders scored two first half goals and posted a 3-0 win over the Tigers.
In the 26', Maria Zylstra scored the first goal of the game for Dordt. Karinna Tel scored in the 45' as she deflected the ball into the goal off the far post with her shot attempt. In the 75', Eliza Evans scored the final goal of the game.
Dordt held a 14-4 shot advantage in the game with Doane's Virginia Johnson picking up five saves in goal.
Doane will travel to Saint Mary (Neb.) on Wednesday, October 9, in Omaha. The game is set to start at 3 PM.
