
Women's Track and Field Host Dutcher Memorial; Compete at KU
Women's Track and Field hosted the Jim Dutcher Memorial Classic over three days while also taking part in the Kansas Relays during the same time span.
At home, Neryah Hekl won the 100m dash with a time of 12.19 seconds. Katie Vogt won the 200m with a time of 25.49. She took second in the 400m and met the NAIA automatic qualifying standard with a time of 55.90.
Emily Lytle placed eighth in the 800m for Doane, running a time of 2:31.39. Jadyn Scott placed 14th in the 1500m with a time of 5:50.80. In the 5000m, Delaney Catron took fifth place with a time of 20:57.71.
Calla Wittland won the 10,000m run with a mark of 41:46.11. In the 400m hurdles, Alyssa Plock recorded a time of 1:18.99 to place sixth. Danie Parriott took second in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 12:15.89. The women's 4x800m relay took second place with a time of 10:14.22. Running for the Tigers were Emily and Madison Lytle, Laura Hasemann, and Parriott.
Josie Garrett took second in the high jump with a mark of 1.65m while Sarah Theiler took third based on attempts as she also cleared 1.65m. The duo met the NAIA provisional qualifying standard. Kennedy Stanley took second in the pole vault with a mark of 3.40m. Garrett was the team's top finisher in the long and triple jump. She took fourth in the long jump with a mark of 5.26m while winning the triple jump with an NAIA automatic qualifying mark of 11.72m. Rosalyn Roggasch took second in the triple jump with an NAIA provisional mark of 11.56m.
Molly Vander Hamm won the javelin with an NAIA provisional mark of 39.99m. Alivia Baucom took second in the shot put with a throw of 13.88m and second in the discus with a mark of 44.80m. Both marks for Baucom met the NAIA automatic qualifying standards. Macy Fuller took second in the hammer throw with a mark of 52.05m, meeting the NAIA automatic standard. Chaney Nelson took fourth in the heptathlon with 4,209 points.
Down in Kansas, Kaylee Pribyl took 6th place in the pole vault with a mark of 3.80m, which meets the NAIA automatic qualifying standard. Fuller met the NAIA provisional standard in the hammer throw with a mark of 50.16m and placed fifth.
Next up for the Tigers will be the Drake Relays and Nebraska Wesleyan Invite as the team makes their final tuneups prior to the GPAC Championships.
