
Women's 4x100m Breaks School Record at Concordia Twilight
Women's Track and Field competed at the Concordia Twilight on Friday afternoon and evening in Seward.
Though the participation on the track was minimal, the Tigers lit up the oval. The 4x100m relay team reset the record they posted at the NWU Dual a month ago by running a time of 46.60 to win the race. The team of Isabel Bothwell, Morgan Mahoney, Katie Vogt, and Neryah Hekl moved into ninth in the NAIA this season.
The team of Vogt, Chaney Nelson, Kiley Hejtmanek, and Danie Parriott ran a season-best time of 3:53.70 to place third with an NAIA automatic qualifying time. They are currently 18th nationally with their mark.
Josie Garrett took fourth in the high jump with a mark of 1.60m (5-03.00). Kaylee Pribyl finished third in the pole vault with a clearance of 3.75m (12-03.50).
Delaney Burge placed fourth in the unseeded shot put with a throw of 12.98m (42-07.00). Alivia Baucom finished eighth in the seeded shot put with a toss of 13.44m (44-01.25), meeting the NAIA provisional standard. Baucom placed 13th in the unseeded discus with a mark of 34.83m (114-03). Kaylie Lotspeich finished in third in the unseeded hammer throw with a toss of 47.75m (156-08). Macy Fuller took third in the seeded hammer throw with a throw of 53.90m (176-10). Mattie Pohl finished in fifth place in the javelin with a mark of 37.46m (122-11).
