Volleyball closed out the first day of action in Florida by taking on the host school, Florida College. The Falcons posted a straight-sets win over the Tigers, 26-24, 25-12, and 25-17.
Florida College was able to post 35 kills and 10 team blocks in the match while Doane finished with 22 kills and two team blocks. Kayden Schumacher led the Tigers with eight kills in the match. Camdyn Carpenter dished out 11 assists. Grace Zeier led the Tigers with 11 digs and Sophia McKinney added 10 digs.
Doane returns to action on Saturday, August 31, as they take on Trinity College and Warner University in the second day of action.
