Volleyball Closes Florida Swing with Win over Warner

In the final match for Tiger Volleyball in Florida, Doane defeated Warner (Fla.) in straight sets. Set scores were 25-16, 25-18, and 26-24. Doane trailed 22-13 in the final set before taking 13 of the final 15 points to secure the win.
Sophia Turek led the team with nine kills and added two ace serves. Taylor Sluka finished with seven kills. Chloe Rose dished out 11 assists and Camdyn Carpenter finished with 10 assists.
On the defensive end, Carpenter led the team with 19 digs. The Tigers finished with 11 team blocks with Sluka and Kayden Schumacher in on three blocks apiece.
Doane will return to action on Wednesday, September 4, with a trip to Hastings to take on the Broncos and open up conference play.
