Women's Cross Country Opens Season Under Lights in South Dakota

Women's Cross Country opened the season at the Augustana Twilight on Friday evening in Sioux Falls, S.D. The Tigers posted 561 points to finish 19th with a team time of 1:44:08.

Danie Parriott led the Tigers with a time of 20:13 to finish 119th. Jaden Hilkemann placed 143rd with a time of 20:38. Calla Wittland and Annika Pingel finished with nearly identical times of 21:010, placing 162nd and 163rd respectively. Grace Colbert finished 180th with a time of 21:13.

Nebraska was the team champion with 43 points as four runners finished in the Top 10. Doane had the fifth-best NAIA team finish.
