
Women's Cross Country Places 4th at GPAC Meeet
Women's Cross Country competed at the GPAC Championships held at the Adams Homestead & Nature Preserve in North Sioux City, S.D., on Saturday morning. The Tigers finished in a tie for fourth with Morningside at 142 points. Dordt took the top spot with 28 points while Concordia was second (42) and Hastings was third (136). The women ran a distance of six kilometers, marking the first time the conference race was run at this distance.
Pacing the Tigers was Calla Wittland as she ran a time of 22:57.8 to place 21st. Danie Parriott placed 27th with a time of 23:21.0. Jaden Hilkemann finished in a time of 23:41.1 to place 33rd and Grace Colbert finished 36th with a time of 23:50.9. Annika Pingel capped the team's Top 5 with a time of 23:56.5 to place 40th.
