Bio

Dustin Llewellyn joined the Tigers' coaching staff in 2018 and assists with both cross country and track & field.

He brought a wealth of knowledge to Doane, starting as a coach in 2004 when he was a volunteer coach at Millard South H.S. In 2005, he joined Millard South as an assistant coach for track and field and would become head coach of the cross country program in 2009. In 2010, he took over the track & field program at Millard South. A move to Lincoln took Llewellyn to Lincoln East H.S. where he assisted the cross country and track & field programs. While teaching at Lincoln East, he founded and became director of Nebraska Elite Track Club. In 2017, he returned to Millard South for a year as the head coach for cross country.

He was named the Omaha Metro Coach of the Year on two occasions. Llewellyn has received the Omaha Metro Cross Country Service Award, the Nebraska Coaches Association Distinguished Cross Country Coach of the Year honor, and coached the Millard South boys to the 2013 state title.

Llewellyn earned a bachlor's degree in secondary education from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and a master's degree from Nebraska Wesleyan in US Historical Studies.
