Avedissian Named GPAC Men's Wrestler of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following men's wrestler-of-the-week for contests played February 3-9, 2025. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2024-2025 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Devin Avedissian, Doane University – 141lb Weight Class

Doane University wrestler Devin Avedissian is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Wrestler-of-the-Week.  Avedissian, a junior from Temecula, California, went 3-0 in the GPAC Duals to help Doane win their second straight conference duals crown. He is now 10-2 on the season. His win over No. 19 Zach Zitek was his second over a ranked wrestler this season. He finished the year with a 6-1 record in conference matches.
