Women's Basketball returned to action on Sunday afternoon in Bellevue as the Tigers took on No. 22 Mayville State. The Comets won a back and forth contest, 84-82.
Doane received a career-high 27 points from Megan Chambers on 11-of-15 shooting. She added seven rebounds in the game, five on the offensive end of the court. Kaylee Klover recorded a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Macy Holtz finished with 16 points and Maddie Portwine finished with 14 points. Libby Trausch led the team with six assists.
Mayville State received 23 points from Jes Mertens. Mertens led the team with eight rebounds and six steals as well. Mackenzie Hughes chipped in with 17 points.
The Tigers will take on Bellevue on Monday, December 30, at 5 PM in Bellevue.
