Season Concludes for Women's Soccer in GPAC Tournament

Women's Soccer returned to the GPAC Tournament for the second time in the last three years when they traveled to Sioux Center, Iowa, on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers came away on the short end of a 3-0 decision to Dordt.

The Tigers were on the unlucky side of the bounce of the ball with three shots that glanced off the frame of the goal (one deflected from a save) on Saturday while one of Dordt's first half shots deflected in. Doane finished with a 7-5 shots on-goal advantage in the game. Virginia Johnson had two saves in the game.

Doane finishes the season with a 7-8-4 overall record. Their win-percentage of .474 matches the mark the team had in 2022, best since the 2012 season.
