CRETE, Neb. – Doane women's soccer earned a conference victory Saturday afternoon, downing Northwestern 3–1 at Memorial Stadium/Papik Field to extend its unbeaten stretch to four GPAC matches.

The Tigers struck early, wasting no time getting on the board less than a minute into play. Brianna-Lynn Ehia buried a quick finish just 50 seconds in off a rebound of a shot from McKenna Rathbun to put Doane ahead 1–0. Northwestern found the equalizer in the 40th minute when Mya Cole converted from 23 yards out off a Doane clear-out, sending the teams to halftime tied 1–1.

After the break, Doane turned up the pressure. In the 57th minute, Rathbun put the Tigers back in front, finishing off a corner from Celeste Galvan. Ehia then sealed the win with her second goal of the day in the 88th minute, again set up by Rathbun, to cap the 3–1 victory.

Doane finished with 10 shots (5 on goal) while holding the Raiders to a single score on 13 attempts. Goalkeeper Virginia Johnson turned in a steady performance with five saves, including three in the first half, to earn the win.

Ehia led Doane with two goals on three shots, while Rathbun added a goal and two assists for a three-point afternoon. Galvan chipped in an assist and four shots as the Tigers moved to 6-5-2 overall and 4-1-1 in GPAC play.

Doane returns to action Wednesday on the road against Mount Marty as the Tigers look to continue their climb up the conference standings.
