Women's Soccer Blanks Dakota Wesleyan

Women's Soccer played host to Dakota Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon in Crete. The host Tigers posted a shutout of their visiting counterparts, posting a 2-0 victory to improve to 3-1-3 in GPAC play and 5-6-3 overall.

In the first half, McKenna Rathbun scored the first goal of the game in the 13' for her ninth of the season. She has scored at least one goal in five of the seven conference games this year. In the second half, Celeste Galvan scored in the 70' as she converted a penalty kick.

Virginia Johnson picked up the win in net, collecting three saves in the match. Doane out-shot Dakota Wesleyan, 13-5, for the game with shots on-goal at 7-3.

The Tigers are back home on Wednesday, October 16, when they host Concordia at 5 PM.
